Having never tried cooking pancakes before, I thought it was about time to give it a go! I always remember having pancakes the traditional way (i.e. crepes with sugar and lemon) which are absolutely delicious, but I've always enjoyed american style pancakes with blueberries when in the US, so I thought that would be the best place to start. 

As it turns out, american style pancakes are just as easy to produce, they just take a little longer to cook due to their thicker consistency - why not try the recipe below on Pancake Day this year? Just so you don't forget its 9th Feb.....
