Cioccolatini Cupcakes and Chocolates food Photography

Working with food start up companies or foodpreneurs are without doubt some of my favourite food photography jobs. I really enjoy working with clients who in the process of turning their new idea in to a reality…..its such an exciting time for them and I love collaborating and sharing in their energy and passion to create some amazing images of their products. Its also because I feel this is where I can add some of the greatest value as a food photographer. In my experience, most food start ups had not really considered how important the imagery on their website, social media feed or print material is, unsurprisingly most of their attention is product development, concepts and growing the business. It maybe the first time that they want professional photography for their website or they are trying to break into wholesalers/ distributor or exhibiting at a trade show that the issue of photography can arise. This realisation that the smart phone or DIY photography that has served its purpose for a while is no longer good or credible enough to communicate the professional nature of the business, or the quality/ provenance of the brand. Investment in food photography is now required.

You can find some advice at my blog on the difference between DIY and pro food photography or why its essential for the foodpreneurs to get their photography right.

Cioccolatini are at this stage. They were in the process of creating a new website for their brand of cupcakes and chocolates and I was delighted to help with some pack shots plus some more creative environmental photography that helps to visually communicated what their brand is all about.
