Now I thought that it would be pretty hard, if not impossible, to improve upon the classic sausage roll, scotch egg or pork pie, but on this occasion I'm more than happy to be proved wrong. I'm am also a huge fan of chilli so the merging of the two is a match made in heaven for me. I was lucky enough to be working with Alf Turner butchers who are a traditional butchers shop based in Aldershot who sell their sausage/ pork range of products through some of the UK's largest supermarkets inc. Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Budgens etc.

After discussions with the team at Alf Turners it was clear that the focus of the shoot was on these new innovative products - the Dragons Egg, Dragons Pork Pie & Dragons Sausage Roll all of which are made using traditional butchers techniques but with a hit of chilli. The other aspect that was highlight in our prep work was to set the majority of the shoot using an outdoor/ picnic setting

It was so exciting to be working with such a large and successful brand who first came to my attention when appearing and succeeding to win investment on Dragons Den a few years ago. They also do large amounts of work with the Help for Heroes charity which is a fantastic cause.
